A Cohort of Diverse Shows at The Public Theater, Including Performing Live to Audio of David Foster Wallace

The Leonard Lopate Show | Jan 5, 2015

Mark Russell and Meiyin Wang, co-directors of The Public Theater’s Under the Radar festival, talk about programming this intense, international lineup of performances. They are joined by Daniel Fish, director of A (radically condensed and expanded) Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again, which draws exclusively from audio recordings of David Foster Wallace, mixed live during each performance. The Under the Radar Festival runs January 7th through 18th, and "A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again" runs January 7th through 16th.
