Back to Siegel intro to Mayor O'Dwyer announces that ILA and tugboat workers have reached and agreement and will cease their strike. Workers will return to work tomorrow morning. Thanks to those who helped settle strike.

Return to studios from City Hall. Station ID. 830 AM and 43.9 FM. Intro to Masterwork Hour. Short bio of Samuel Barber. Intro to his Symphony #1. Then return to City Hall for special announcement from Seymour N. Siegel. All fuel inspectors at fuel depots will remain on duty. Rationing will continue.
